I am a senior at UNC Chapel Hill from Apex, North Carolina. I have always lived in North Carolina, but have been able to travel around the United States and to several countries, including Spain, Hungary, and France. I have learned that I love big cities and being immersed in other cultures because I appreciate fast-pace life styles and exploring new places.
I have been an avid dancer since I was three years old and was fortunate to dance nearly seven days a week for fifteen years. I spent several summers in New York City dancing, but ultimately decided that a professional ballet career was not for me. However, my love for dance is stronger than ever and has lead me to be part of a dance company on UNC’s campus, Carolina Style Dance Company.
In high school, I participated in an exchange program to Tours, France. Since then, I have visited Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, Budapest, Hungary, and five cities in Canada. Traveling with my camera is truly one of my greatest joys.
I am very close with my family and adore my younger sister, Emma. I am so lucky to have such a strong support system and am beyond thankful to go to school close to home.
